Mick drew peg 28 with the wind blowing into it and was into fish from off fishing the pole and meat out and down the margins he landed 23 carp – 10lb in his 127lb 7oz net. In 2^nd Nigel came with a late run of carp on the pole and pellet down the margin to edge Ian into 3^rd spot with 116lb 14oz and 114lb.

Way out in front, Dave fished his usual pole and caster sort at 5m on the deck and up in the water for 72lb of Ide and skimmers-1lb before turning his attention to the carp fishing the pole and worm he landed 10 carp making up the rest of his weight of 145lb 15oz. In second place Steve had a mixed net of silvers on the pole and worm and the pole and corn fished down the margin for carp.

Back to the top regular match winner Martyn the paste Brown drawn at 19 he fished the pole and paste out at 6m and down the margin landing 31 carp – 8lb in this short match putting a total of 148lb 12oz on the scales. 2^nd and third spots went to dad and lad, with the lad coming out top both on the pole and paste.
