With a white over frost at the start of the match peg 31 is the place to be and it was Craig Brazier who drew it, fishing the pole and maggot over the bore hole and the wagler and maggot cast to the lily pad he landed carp – 5lb steady through the match finishing well in front with 61lb 1oz.

A very tight finish to this match, but it was Andy Lakey that came out top fishing the pole and maggot at the side of the small island at peg 28 landing a mixed net of skimmers, roach and perch – 12oz. In second place Steve fished the pole and pellet for an all skimmer net with fish – 2lb.
