The weather forecast put the anglers off but the rain didn’t stop the fish feeding, at the top of this tight finish was Subfish angler Daz Staley drawn at 39 he fished the pole and paste out at 12m for just 3 carp before his swim dried up after 2 bite less hours the carp turned up in the margins landing 19 more carp – 10lb he finished top wop 126lb 2oz. Losing two fish at the net cost Mick the match, fishing the pole and meat out and down the margin he landed 27 carp – 8lb. In third and with the final ton weight Craig fished the pole and pellet out for 34 carp – 7lb.

Dave fished the pole and caster on the top two + two for 58lb of Ide and skimmers – 2lb and late in the match he fished worm down the margin for carp -9lb finishing well ahead with 114lb 14oz. In second spot team mate John fished the pole and pellet down the margin at hot peg 40 for an all carp net with fish going to 7lb.

Dave fished the pole and pellet out at 12m and maggot in the margin for 18 carp – 10lb for 119lb 10oz. Matt in 2^nd place also had 18 carp – 10lb on the pole with pellet and corn weighing in the only other ton with 103lb 9oz.
