It was a very windy day and Andy fished the pole short on the top 2 +2 with banded 6mm pellet, loose feeding 4mm over the top he landed 25 carp – 7lb but also landed a 14lb specimen. In second place Lee (big pot) Parker fished the pole and pellet out at 7m and down the margins at end peg 51 landing 36 carp -8lb.

Nick named Fred the bread, Fred drew carp peg 40 and fished popped up bread cast to the weed beds landing 21 carp – 9lb and putting 83lb 9oz on the scales and winning with over 20lb to spare. Runner up John Holmes fished the pole and maggot for 53lb of silvers + 1 bonus 9lb carp.

Chris fished the method feeder and pellet cast tight to the island at peg 36 landing 26 carp – 7lb and 3 carp – 12lb on the pole and corn down the margin late in the match. In second spot Andy Lakey fished the pole and pellet out at 14m for 26 carp – 6lb. And 3^rd placed Andy fished the pole and paste for carp – 12lb.
