With the round of big Midlands summer events all but over, Pete Taylor is running a teams-of-three series on the Cornerstone AC controlled stretch of the Grand Union Canal at Small Heath.
There will be four matches fished over the winter period, with the first on November 1st.
“I fished it recently in horrendous weather but still had about 5lb,” said Pete.
“Small skimmers are still showing and with bloodworm allowed I think you’ll be looking at double figures to win. I’m hoping the league will become a permanent fixture.”
