This weekend was very busy at the fishery and there were some good results from the practice sessions held by the youngsters in preparation for the East Midlands Competition which will be held at Springwood Fisheries on Saturday 6th May 2006. These teams consist of the junior anglers from Milton Keynes, Coventry and Derby. 28lb was the top catch, caught on pellet which attracted the large carp. Someone even caught the goldfish (originally from our garden pond) which has now grown to about 8 inches!!

THURSDAY OPEN MATCHES SERIES – Fom 1st Thursday in May – Draw 5pm, fish 6-9pm. £8.00 all in.
