The England Veterans will be travelling to Slovenia next year to take part in the 13th FIPSed World Veterans Angling Championships being held on the River Sava, Radece.

The team are hoping to do one better than earlier this year when they finished in a credible fourth place in Italy on the Canal Scolmatore in June.

Joe Roberts, England Veterans Manager stated “After a recent England assessment day for Veterans held on the River Trent, Long Higgin, Nottingham on 23rd September I feel a strong squad has been selected for the World Championship in 2020 and I am really pleased with the line-up. Joining the Veterans with his first ever call up for a World Championship will be Nigel Bull. This team is suited to big river fishing so this venue will work well for us and we will be looking forward to the World Championship next year.”
