RESULTS FOR OPEN CONTESTS WEEK ENDING 22nd MAY 2011

All pool fishing well with most baits and methods going. Big fish showing all around the complex .

Top Pool
Maggot for plenty of silver fish action – skimmers up to HB mark, roach 10oz , perch.
Chopped worm and caster to islands and up in water is taking plenty of fi`s up to 2.5lb.
Pellet at 4mtrs and down edges is also producing large bags of fi`s.

Bottom Pool
Ledger meat and corn to island, producing large carp up to 10lb, pole down track for smaller carp, silvers barble up to 2lb. Margins paste for good bags of fi`s, mirrors up to 2lb with bigger carp moving in later.
 
House Pool
Ledger dead maggot (white) on method feeder to island for the bigger carp. Pellet and maggot at 6mtrs for fi`s and silvers.
Chopped meat down edges (2mm cubes) at 3mtrs is now catching plenty of fish.

Extension pool
Corn over hemp to island still producing good bags of fish, fi`s, mirrors, commons. Maggot up in water is also working well at 7mtrs bronze being the colour here. Paste down edges now starting to produce and a bigger stamp of fi being caught, fish up to 4lb.

New Pool
All baits working here, pellet being the chosen one, plenty of fi`s and silvers bring caught at 6mtrs and down edges.
Chopped worm and caster long 12mtrs is sorting out a bigger stamp of fish.
 
Canal Pool
Pellet long to island producing plenty of fi`s. Maggot at 7mtrs on deck and later on in session up in water is producing bags of fish of 100lb plus.
Corn and meat down edges for barble up to 2lb, fi`s up to 3lb and mirrors up to 7lb.
 
Club Pool
Congratulations to Simon Christian who qualified for Fish-O-Mania on peg 13, fishing meat down the edges he enticed mirrors and commons up to 7lb to accumulate a matching winning weight of 147-4.
During the week pellet/paste/maggot had produced plenty of fish at 7mtrs and dowm edges.
 
Jenny’s Pool
Maggot long is catching plenty of fish. Pellet/corn over hemp at 7mtrs producing a bigger stamp of fish (up to 7lb mirrors – commons) down edge at 3mtrs paste over hemp is producing fast action and big bags of fi`s up to 4lb.
