Ultima is making a departure from its core business of mainline production with the introduction of a range of carp ‘end tackle’ products, including  stiff links, zig rig material and tapered leaders.
All are designed specifically for the carp market and will be ready for launch at the Tackle and Guns trade show in October.
“We have had a fantastic year with two of our products – Power Carp and Power Steel – doing particularly well,” said Ultima’s Henry Aiken.
“We now have a team of top consultants who have encouraged us into the new areas. As long as it’s line related, we will look at it.”
Henry added that these will be the first of many new products, and with hooklength braids on their way in the New Year.
