Gaz had a double figure carp first cast from peg 14. He had to cast further still as the match wore on, eventually netting 20 carp and around 15lb of skimmer bream. The Solihull venue fished brilliantly, with four more 100lb-plus weights as a strong wind put a ripple on the water and encouraged the fish to feed aggressively.
