Daventry angler Mark Ryder has captured the biggest know carp in the world – a 92lb monster from Graviers Fishery in France.
The mighty fish, named ‘Scar Fish’ in carp circles, is the same one landed at a world record weight of 99lb in 2010.
Mark fished a gravel bar 120 yards out with a blowback rig using Baitcraft T1 boilies on size 6 Nash Fang Twister hook and 24lb line. The 50-year-old has a tremendous session, also catching a fish of 57lb 4oz and four 40-pounders.
