Cambridge angler Kevin Sanders braved some pretty awful weather to bank this beautiful brace of rudd with the best going a personal best 2lb 15oz and the other another beauty at 2lb 8oz.

Kevin started on the float with no luck but a switch to fishing the Method Feeder over a couple of pre-baited spots with a single 10mm yellow pop-up.

The switch started well with two quick-fire tench and as the sun went down these two superb specimen rudd around 2lb apiece obliged. Following a bream and two 6lb tench, the brace of specimen rudd obliged.

They all fell to a method feeder with Marine Halibut & Frenzied Hemp/Silver X Method mix groundbait and the 10mm yellow pop up glugged in XL Liquid Strawberry.
